Galaxie Rising Star Winner Shaun LeBlanc (FACEBOOK) is a singer-songwriter with a solid piano background from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and a voice that blends the smoothness of John Mayer with the versatility of Justin Timberlake, Shaun demonstrates a natural ability for pop songwriting and performing that is decidedly his own.

Shaun recently collaborated with producer Robin Anne Ettles to create his first full-length album Kaleidoscope, a collection of songs that convey powerful emotion and imagery. His first singles, Out of Nowhere and Paradise, are receiving regular airtime on CBC and BO-FM radio.

Shaun’s first music video Paradise, was awarded the 2013 Atlantic Film Festival RBC Foundation 10×10 Emerging Artist Award along with Producer Matthew Ingraham. This song is also nominated for the SOCAN Song of the Year 2013 Prix MNB Award.

With this recent award and his 4 Music New Brunswick Award Nominations (Solo Recording Artist of the Year, Emerging Artist of the Year, Pop Recording of the Year, SOCAN Song of the Year.), Shaun is poised to perform at the celebrations in Saint John, NB in October. He will be taking part of the Songwriters’ Circle hosted by Brent Mason on Saturday, October 19 at 7 PM at the InterAction School of Performing Arts (228, Germain).
